The Picture

One LFM client is an independent, coeducational preschool through 8th grade school in New York City. Due to its organizational complexity, increased competition, and shifting demographics, the School was getting lost in the shuffle of NYC independent schools.

The Plan

One of the first steps was getting the school on the map, literally. When prospective parents located on the upper west side search for private schooling options, the school wasn’t showing up. The Google search strategy included identifying and targeting the ideal set of research and enrollment-related terms, including geo-specific terms that were the most likely to enroll.

The Payoff 

88% of the time someone near the school searches for what the school offers, our client shows up at the top of Google results.

  • Ads showing for the search “kindergarten new york city” were clicked on 6.4% of the time, driving 722 prospective parents to the website

  • 27 applications were generated, many of whom would not have known about the school had the school not been strategically advertising
